Marco Terraneo

Assistant Professor of Sociology in Department of Sociology and Social Research of the University of Milano-Bicocca and Adjunct professor in Department of Philosophy and Cultural Heritage of the University of Venice Ca’ Foscari (Course in Sociology of Health). Since 2018, Director of Professional Master Programme in “Deviance, justice system and social services”. From 2016 to 2019, member of Board of Italian Sociological Association (Section of Sociology of Health and Medicine, Coordinator of the WG "health inequalities"). Involved in numerous national and international research projects, his main research interests include social and health inequalities, healthcare systems, material deprivation and dimensions of social stratification.
