Renato Caruso

Renato Caruso, born in 1982, has been playing since the age of 6: guitar and piano are the first instruments he approaches. The guitarist and composer worked for five years at Ron's music academy, "Una Città Per Cantare", as a teacher of classical, acoustic and electric guitar, theory and music theory, music informatics and web manager. Renato Caruso throughout his career has performed with the likes of Ron, Dik Dik, Red Ronnie, Alex Britti and Fabio Concato. In 2015 he published his first book "LA MI RE MI" (Europa Edizioni): a short essay-speech on music and its innovative interweaving with information technology. In 2016 his first acoustic guitar album "ARAM" was released. The Crotone guitarist is the inventor of the musical genre "Fujabocla", which mixes various musical styles including funk, jazz, bossa nova and classical. In May 2018 he released his second solo guitar album "PITAGORA PENSACI TU". In July of the same year he opens the "Fiuggi Guitar Festival", the most important guitar festival in Italy, in September he performs in the "City of guitars", the prestigious international festival dedicated to the six strings of Locarno (Switzerland) and in October he is among the guests of the "MEI-Meeting of Independent Labels" in Faenza (RA). In March 2019 he opens a date of "Off the record" (the series of concerts by Francesco De Gregori at the Teatro Garbatella in Rome). In 2021 he released “GRAZIE TURING” (Believe), the new solo guitar album, perfect soundtrack to immerse yourself in reading the latest book, “# DIESIS O HASHTAG?” (OneReed, 2021). In 2022 he put his first three NFTs up for sale – Non Fungible Guitar (9 AM), Non Fungible Guitar (11 AM), Non Fungible Guitar (11 PM) – linked to a concept that Renato developed, namely the concept of “ MUSICAL RELATIVITY". Renato Caruso is a composer and guitarist for various artists. He currently works at various academies as a professor of classical guitar, acoustics, T&S and musical IT and is a researcher at the University of Milan-Bicocca for the Ampel project.
